More on our oncoming trip, please note the following places we may want to go to....


Lighthouse Marina Resort
A new luxury boutique resort located in Subic Bay Freeport Zone, just outside of Olongapo. From Manila, travel time is about 2 - 3 hours. Both Saulog Transit and Victory Liner buses can be riden going to Olongapo, from there you can easily catch either a taxi or a jeepney to the Subic Bay Freeport Zone and onwards to the resort.
Alternative route is - to catch a ferry from the CCP center to Orion in Bataan. From Orion, ride a bus going to Olongapo.


Each room, have a 42" plasma TV, plus verandahs that face Subic Bay wherein one can watch the spectacular sunset. There is also a restaurant which overlooks the swimming pool.

Blue Rock Subic Bay Resort
Located on Baloy Beach at Barrio Barretto which is about 10 to 15 minutes out of Olongapo City. From Manila, travel time will take between 2 - 3 hours.


The resort has a Floating Bar where you don't have to get wet to get on and where it is fun to watch the sun as it sets on the horizon.
It also has it's own scuba diving facility, Dive Blue Rock which is moored off the beach next to the floating bar.
And a Bar and restaurant that is open 24 hours so you can always get a mid night snack or drink. The bar faces the beach and overlooks Subic Bay. In its left are the rooms and the pool.
The accommodation is clean and simple, hot and cold water showers, bar fridge and a TV with cable and fully air-conditioned.

Ocean Adventure
An open water marine park located also in Subic Bay Freeport Zone.
It is roughly 100 kilometres from Manila and on average would be a 3-4 hour drive. Actual address is: Camayan Wharf, West Alanin Forest Area, Subic Bay Freeport Zone.


The admission price (per info on net) is P450 for adults and P370 for children 12 years and under.
This includes the :
Sea Lion Show - where you can shake it's fin or receive a big fishy kiss;
Whale Presentation - where you can watch the False killer whales as they do their tricks.
You can also get up close and personal with the False Killer Whales, e.g. swim or scuba dive and take pictures, you'll just have to pay extra.
Discovery Aquarium - a walk through building with numerous aquariums built into the walls housing different varieties of marine and fresh water creatures.

Ilanin Bay Cafe
An airconditioned fast-food where you can buy typical quickly prepared foods - coz visitors are not allowed to bring foods inside the park.
The Cafe views directly onto the training area for the False Killer Whales. Directly outside the Cafe are two small pens with a variety of marine creatures where in you can find a number of Black Tip Reef Sharks, as well as an assortment of other fishes.

Zoobic Safari
Nestled in the jungle and built on the site of the former US Naval Magazine. The address is Group 1, Ilanin Forest, Subic Freeport Zone.


Admission price is P295 for Monday to Thursday and P395 on Friday to Sunday. It's attractions aside from the guided tour through the entire Zoobic Safari are:
Zoobic Park Petting Zoo, Zoobic Serpentarium, Tiger Safari, Tiger Close Encounter and the Savannah.

Subic Plan


As per request yung Subic natin will be on June 16-17 kasi yun daw available date for most.

Yung place saan tayo stay yun pinafinalize ko pa.

Food??? Dating gawi na lang din.

Transpo??? Commute na lang para relax lahat parang yung trip natin sa Baguio di ba?

Eto na ang madadaanan natin if may dala tayong auto papuntang Subic!!!
